Hot as Hades (Four Horsemen MC #2) by Cynthia Rayne - ARC Review

Hot as Hades (Four Horsemen MC #2)Hot as Hades by Cynthia Rayne

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hot as Hades (Four Horsemen MC Series #2) by Cynthia Rayne
This is the second installment of the Four Horsemen MC Series.
The book follows Cowboy’s story and how he meets Daisy. As Cowboy stakes out a rival MCs strip joint he immediately spots Daisy stripping on stage. Sparks fly between these two instantly, but they are both on a mission. Cowboy is trying to get Intel on the Raptors MC and their prostitution ring and Daisy is trying to find her sister who has gone missing last seen with a Raptor. Cowboy convinces Daisy that they should work together with his club to find out what the Raptors are up to and find her sister Rose. Daisy reluctantly agrees, she’s a marine after all and she doesn’t need any help least of all a gang of bikers. Daisy finds out rather quickly that the Four Horsemen MC is not completely what they appear to be, they are hardcore bikers true, but they don’t deal in drugs or selling or abusing women.
I really love this series, one of my favorite in the genre. The author knows how to tell a good story. This one was different from the first one in that it was more intense and serious subject matter. Human trafficking, rape, violence, forced drug use, all play a part in how this story unfolds. The other guys Shepard, Duke, Captain and Voo Doo from the previous book are all present as well as some new faces. Little tidbits of their future stories come up. Like something is definitely brewing between Eddie and Captain, not to mention Shepard and Pretty boy. There is also some comic relief when the prospects do a little strip tease at a party with the girls, which had me laughing out loud.
I loved Cowboy, he was sexy, charming and just had my heart from the beginning and Daisy’s too even though she refused to admit it. When we find out the tragedy in Cowboy’s past oh my, did my heart break for him. The sex scenes were steamy and at times playful.
Having sisters of my own I related to Daisy’s desire to do anything she could to save her sister, at the expense of her own life. If you like a strong kick ass heroine and a hot as hell sexy cowboy biker with a solid story behind them, you will love this book.
I look forward to Duke and Rose’s story.

Do or Die (Reluctant Heroes, #1) by Suzanne Brockmann - ARC Review

Do or Die (Reluctant Heroes, #1)Do or Die by Suzanne Brockmann

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Do or Die (Reluctant Heroes #1) by Suzanne Brockmann

I have never read a Suzanne Brockmann novel before. This book had sucked me in from the start.
Suzanne Brockmann knows her way around a HOT ALPHA male, Ian is definitely all alpha. There is military action, suspense and sexiness in this book which totally kept my interest.

Ian and Phoebe have chemistry, tension and a bit of comedy which gives a real feel to the characters. I loved Ian's family as well. There is a bit of m/m in the book too which was nicely done. Ian kind of reminded me of Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible character Ethan Hunt.
I liked Phoebe from the start she was a strong female character, she held her own with Ian and their banter was very entertaining.
There was tons of action and suspense to keep the reader wanting more, truly an action packed book.
This is my first Suzanne Brockmann book and I thoroughly enjoyed it, it will not be my last for sure. I loved Ian’s wittiness, sexiness and total alpha maleness. He proctects what he loves with his life.
I was wrapped up in the story of these characters from beginning to end.

Bound to Danger (Deadly Ops #2) by Katie Reus - ARC Review

Bound to Danger (Deadly Ops, #2)Bound to Danger by Katie Reus

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Bound for Danger (Deadly Ops #2) by Katie Reus

Action and Suspense

This is the second book in the Deadly Ops series, but can be read as a stand-alone.

This is the first book of Katie Reus that I have read and I really enjoyed it.

I want to go back and read the previous book Targeted.

Marie and Cade are strong, likeable characters. The story is just filled with non-stop action and suspense. I was on the edge of my seat as I read.

Maria overhears terrorist planning destruction, she ends up in an explosion at the benefit after hearing the terrorist plot. She wakes up with no memory she is in a state of shock and grief and quickly finds out the NSA believes her to be a person of interest. Since she is the only survivor of the blast.

Cade O’Reilly is an NSA agent, he jumps at the chance to question Maria when he sees her name on the lone survivor list from the blast. She is the woman he can’t forget, the younger sister of his best friend. He is the man who deserted her when she needed him the most and never told her why. Nothing will stop him from protecting her not even Maria herself. She’s trying to remember what happened that night he and doesn’t make protecting her easy for him at all. But he is up to the challenge if it means he gets to protect her and be near her.

The building of the relationship of these characters through emails while Cade was in service was very well written. It helps us to understand the feelings these two characters developed for each other over time. The attraction is still there strong as ever years later, even though both of them fight it. Cade needs to gain her trust and Maria needs to believe he cares.
The author gave us very interesting background characters, that kept the story exciting.

No Weddings (No Wedding Series #1) by Kat and Stone Bastion - ARC Review

No WeddingsNo Weddings by Kat Bastion

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

No Weddings by Kat and Stone Bastion
This was my first Kat and Stone Bastion book, it is the first in a series called No Weddings that centers on two people who have been damaged by the ones they thought they would spend forever with.
The book is so much more than the title and synopsis suggests.
If you are looking for a sex filled, love at first sight whirlwind romance kind of book this is not the one for you. If you are looking for a book that will take you on journey of two individuals as they explore a male/female friendship and learn to love and trust again while trying to repair their damaged hearts, then I recommend this book whole heartedly.
Cade Michaelson is a successful business man starting up a new business with his three sisters. The relationship he has with his sisters is really fantastic. I loved the banter, I loved the witty comments they throw at each other. You can totally see the love and support behind the sarcasm and pranks.
The story is told from Cade's point of view which I truly enjoyed, I don't get to read books that are completely in the male POV very often. It was a refreshing change. In the beginning of the book Cade comes off like a total player, he sleeps around for sex only encounters whenever and however he likes. If the women don't understand the score he cuts them loose. He's been burned by a woman and he doesn't plan on getting burned again. Until he meets Hannah, at first sight he is completely in lust and is definitely physically attracted to her. She immediately gives him the cold shoulder and he dubs her the Ice Queen. When they meet again months later and Cade is put in charge of the task of getting Hannah to be the exclusive baker for his and his sisters new party planning business Invitation Only (cool name) sparks fly. Cade is challenged by her icy demeanor and wants to break down her icy walls to discover the warm soft woman beneath. He promised his sisters that Hannah was hands off, since he must keep it business only he decides to just invade her life by becoming a continued presence at her bakery shop. Doling out invaluable business advice, eating her delicious baked goods and shamelessly flirting with her at every chance. He’ll do anything just to be around her.
In the beginning I was not a fan of the slow pace of the book. I liked Hannah but I wasn’t sure about these two as a couple. The friendship forms, but slowly, about half way in the business, friendship turns to a much more flirty friendship. This is when I could not put the book down. I was intrigued by Cade's take as a man building a friendship with a woman with no promise of sex or anything physical. I thought the progression of the relationship into something more was very well written. I liked how they seemed to learn a little more about each other every time they were together. Throwing in the flirty comments, and hot looks made for a really fun read. The background characters added an extra element of fun too, Cade was able to see Hannah through his friends and sister’s eye’s which only seemed to make him fall for her more. Most romance novels I read I expect the hero and heroine to fall in love at first sight and have this whirlwind one to two week romance and live happily ever after. I was pleasantly surprised by this book because I actually was fascinated by the budding romance. When these two damaged people start to open up to each other it just broke my heart. Their heartbreaking stories one more tragic than the other. When Cade realizes that he cares for Hannah more than he ever thought he would anyone again I just melted.
Though they don't even kiss until the end of this installment the sexual chemistry is definitely there. If you like a series and you like the slow progression of a real relationship you will enjoy this book.
I am looking forward to the next installment, I can't wait to see what the future holds for Cade and Hannah.
I received and ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Show Me, Baby: 1001 Dark Nights (Masters of the Shadowlands #9)

Show Me, Baby: 1001 Dark Nights (Masters of the Shadowlands, #9)Show Me, Baby: 1001 Dark Nights by Cherise Sinclair

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

So happy to be back at Shadowlands I missed these guys, in this novella we get tidbits of our favorite Shadowlands Doms. This is Master Jake's story.

After Heather chose her career over a life with him, Jake is determined to find a woman that will put him and future with him first. He has noticed trainee Rainie for awhile now her lush curves, smiles and laughter draw him in. But for some reason he hasn't figured out yet she avoids him at all costs.

Rainie has lived a tough life, growing up in foster care and then being pushed aside by her fiance because his wealthy family didn't feel she was good enough for him. Her self esteem at this point in her life is shot when it comes to relationship with men so she avoids anything permanent. According to the trainee rules shes supposed to be finding a permanent Dom.

When a chance meeting with Master Jake outside of the Shadowlands BDSM club puts her directly in his sights there's nowhere for her to hide. Raine starts a D/s relationship with him but tells herself its just fun nothing permanent. Jake has other ideas.

This was a really great novella, I enjoyed this story I laughed, I cried for both Jake and Raine as they tried to heal to make their way towards each other.

We get a Shadowlands bachelor and bachelorette party as well as a wedding.
If you love this series you will enjoy this installment. I hope this is not the last we see of our Shadowlands Dominants

A View to a Thrill (Masters and Mercenaries, # 7) by Lexi Blake

A View to a Thrill (Masters and Mercenaries, #7)A View to a Thrill by Lexi Blake

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Masters and Mercenaries Series is my all time favorite. Every time a new one is due to come out I wait not so patiently for it to arrive on my e-reader. I squealed with delight when this one downloaded.

When we first met Simon I wasn't sure I wanted his story. He came off to me like an arrogant Brit, who would be stuffy and not at all alpha like the rest of the Sanctum / Mckay/ Taggart fellows.

I started to crave his story when Chelsea showed up, goes to show you when the right woman is paired with the right man sparks fly.

We learn so much about Simon in this book that we never knew before, about his childhood. Lexi teased us with small glimpses of the real guy beneath the suit when he interacted with Chelsea.
I also felt how Simon really thought of the Mckay / Taggart group as his family and he would do anything for them.
I really loved the "partnership" of Jesse and Simon at first it seemed like Simon was to be the young PTSD victims "babysitter" but their bromance turned out to be so much more. Jesse and Simon have a strong brotherly bond and was a pleasure to read. Jesse stole my heart from the moment he was introduced and I can't wait to read his story.

Chelsea had so many self-esteem issues thanks to her crazy Russian mob father who brutalized her physically and emotionally. I would have thought no man would have been able to reach her. But Simon was so up to the challenge. Right from the start the sexual chemistry these two shared was sizzling. She goes to Simon for help he uses the opportunity to get her to sign a BDSM contract with him that he has every intention of adhering to forever. Using it to gain her love and trust.
While they are on the run from whoever is trying to kill Chelsea, Simon introduces her to the world of D/s relationships that Chelsea thought he didn't want. But with Simon she finally admits its different only with him.

As usual this series brings tons of action and lots of alpha male Mckay/Taggart sexiness.
Also we meet so many new characters, including Simon's cousins, brother and a couple more Taggart's I can't wait to learn more about.

Of course my Ian is back and as sarcastic and brooding as ever with his lovely wife Charlotte in tow. I love at one point he gets an unexpected "hug" and doesn't know what to do. I laughed out loud and his reactions.

This is a series that can go on forever as far as I am concerned.

Lexi Blake writes this series so well that it never gets stale, never repeats itself and keeps us entertained every time.

The epilogue (I love an epilogue ) made me smile for what is to come. There is a novella with two new characters and then after that Jesse and Phoebe's story. Pre-orders already in so I wait again.

This series has it all, love, danger, intrigue, comedy, heartbreak. If you have not read this series you need to get it, I highly recommend.

Synopsis

I’m not a philosophical kind of bloke, but I know something about luck. A childhood on the wrong side of advantage will teach you that. It’s all a matter of chance. It’s both your circumstances and the chances you take. So I've always been a gambler and a ladies man — they love me and I love them. Now I've found one like no other — an American, Allison Wright. When I met her, the fates were on my side, but too soon I learned the odds were against me.

EXCERPT

After a snort of laughter, she said, “You really are so bad.”

“The word is ‘cheeky’, love. We say cheeky over here.”

“Cheeky? What does that mean?”

“Teasing. Naughty. Sort of in on your own joke. Something like that.”

“What about unbelievably conceited about one’s perceived sexual prowess?”

“That might be found in the psychology books.”

“With your photo as an example.”

“Now come now, love.” I looked down into her eyes that I was sure needed an emerald ring to match. “You find me endearing, don’t you?”

“I find you…” She shook her head. “I find you…” Then finally she sighed, “I find you adorable in every way which is probably why I’m here right now when I should be back at the office.”

“Adorable? Like a puppy? Good God, I’m off my game, if you only want to pat my head.”

She lifted her eyes up to the heavens and sighed again. “I said adorable in every way, okay? I think that covers all aspects of a woman’s appreciation of a man.”

Well, if that wasn’t a bloody roundabout way of admitting she liked me at least a little… I smirked again. “Maybe then you might want to pat my other head as well?”

“David…” she said in a warning tone.

Reckless Redemption (Bad Blooded Rebel, #5) by Mellie George

Reckless Redemption (Bad Blooded Rebel, #5)Reckless Redemption by Mellie George

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

When we first met Beau and Danni it seemed to be just a casual fling.
As we read about them in each installment of Evie and Ryder's story we found out that it was so much more than that for both of them. But neither was will to be the first to admit it for fear of a broken heart.

Back in "Redeemed" Beau makes a horrible mistake that has Danni running away from him.
Realizing he loves her more than he ever loved anyone he goes into a downward spiral into alcohol.

In Reckless Danni comes to Cincy to help Beau recover from his alcoholism. Beau will do anything to get Danni to notice he is changed man and all for her the love of his life.

Its almost immediately that this couple has "the talk" and decide they want to give it a shot. I like the the author didn't drag out the "getting back together" part. The book was dedicated to the love that this couple has and how they deal with moving forward. Handling a few surprises along the way.
The love the have for each other is so strong it was very heartwarming to read.

We also get to find out what's going on with Evie and Ryder and their new baby Max is born.
Jude and Sadie are back, Jude is a clueless as ever to Sadies feelings and continues to deny them to everyone.
Kris and Jessie are back trying to have a baby of their own.

We also get to see the guys from Eternal Down too love them. :)
Danni's parents Dan and Brenda join the group and they are just too much, comic relief as well as loving parents.

I am so looking forward to Kris and Jessie's back story, which is the next book.
And I will wait not so patiently for Jude and Sadies story because I believe that one will be my favorite.

I fell in love with this group of misfits from the first book, Rockers and the women they adore *sigh*. The author really conveyed a sense of family to me with this wonderful group of people.

Give me more more more!!

Beautiful Player - by Christina Lauren

Beautiful Player (Beautiful Bastard, #3)Beautiful Player by Christina Lauren

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Synopsis: Beautiful Player – Christina Lauren
A bombshell bookworm. A chronic Casanova. And a lesson in chemistry too scandalous for school.

When Hanna Bergstrom receives a lecture from her overprotective brother about neglecting her social life and burying herself in grad school, she’s determined to tackle his implied assignment: get out, make friends, start dating. And who better to turn her into the sultry siren every man wants than her brother’s gorgeous best friend, Will Sumner, venture capitalist and unapologetic playboy?

Will takes risks for a living, but he’s skeptical about this challenge of Hanna’s… until the wild night his innocently seductive pupil tempts him into bed- and teaches him a thing or two about being with a woman he can’t forget. Now that Hanna’s discovered the power of her own sex appeal, it’s up to Will to prove he’s the only man she’ll ever need.

My Review: 5 STARS
So when I started reading this series I was kind of in a book slump. Nothing was giving me that can’t put it down feeling. Beautiful Bastard started me on the right path Chloe and Bennett were so much fun to read. Beautiful Stranger kept me going, Sarah and Max were a hoot. Beautiful Bombshell was hysterical loved it. Then I got to Beautiful Player and this one, the Will and Hanna’s story was the one I seriously could not put down. I wanted to know Will’s story from when we met him in Stranger. I was happy to read more about him, especially after all his “love is for pansies” declarations in Bombshell. I was as excited as Max to see a woman take him down a peg or two. When I met Hanna in chapter one I was totally hooked, she is a great heroine I loved her honesty and that she had no filter especially with Will. Hanna and Will together from their first run was just fireworks. The angst that the two of them felt throughout the book over where the relationship would go kept me interested. I waited patiently for Will to call her “Hanna” instead of “Ziggy” because I know as soon as that happened it meant he was falling for her. I cried when Hanna broke Will’s heart as she kept insisting they keep it casual, though Will was already in too deep for that, even when he didn’t know it yet. Their conversations about sex, porn especially was so funny, I laughed out loud. Hanna’s theories we too much. And we also got a surprise for Max and Sarah that made me gasp. Bennett and Chloe always fun to read as they planned their wedding. This installment by far was my favorite.

Wow this story keeps getting better for me.
The sex scenes are hot, loving and sweet all at once.
Ryder and Everleigh are a great couple, they have my attention for sure.

I also like how the author is keeping us interested in the back ground characters.

Beau and Danni intrigue me and in this installment there's heart break for these two.

Jude - big old man whore that he is I know his story is really going to be a good one.

There is some suspense in this installment as well, Scott is causing all kinds of trouble.

And Jake I want to know his story and the guys from Eternal Down already love them :)

Keep the Rocker stories coming Ms. George loving them :)

New Rocker series - Bad Blooded Rebel, #1 by Mellie George

Rebel (Bad Blooded Rebel, #1)Rebel by Mellie George

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a novella about Everleigh and Ryder.
I really liked these two as a couple from the first time we meet them.

Ryder is a Rock Star
Everleigh is a girl next door type but he falls for her at first sight. She rolls her eyes at him and pays him no mind. Which of course makes him fall for her all the more because shes not throwing herself at him.

We also get to meet the rest of Bad Blooded Rebel and these guys are all swoon worthy for sure. I look forward to getting into their stories as well.

Currently Ryder is trying to convenience Everleigh they belong together.
She is trying to deny her feels as well as deal with her terminally ill father.

I love this story, and I love this little rock family that is developing with the characters. If you like Rock Star romances this is a good one.

The Rocker Who Wants Me (The Rocker Series #7) by Terri Anne Browning

The Rocker Who Wants Me (The Rocker, #7)The Rocker Who Wants Me by Terri Anne Browning

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

When we first met Axton I did not like him because I thought he would try to come between Em and Nik. But he quickly realized that Em was not for him. Once Axton laid eyes on Dallas he was goner. To bad he didn't know how to let his girl know his true feelings. Along the way a lot of misunderstandings let to Dallas breaking off the relationship to save her heart. Every time these two get together sparks fly, and its explosive.

Now that Ax realizes he is in love with Dallas and plans to win her back he will stop at nothing.

Dallas tries hard to keep her walls up and push him away but Axton is slowly making them crumble.

These two are so perfect for each other I was rooting for them from the beginning.

I felt a real unconditional love coming from Axton towards Dallas. She was his girl and that was it forever.

There are some surprises that made me smile as these to learn about each other and what makes them who they are.

Em and a few of the other Demons make appearances which was cool.

One of the shocking parts for me was that Terri made me actually like Gabriella. She is still a crazy woman but she love Liam and when he nearly dies she is by his side the whole time. Unfortunately he doesn't take her presence so well. I am actually looking forward to their story.

Worth and Marissa really intrigued me he barely speaks but I am so interested in his story.

Big things happen with Devlin, Zander and Natalie.

All in all this was fantastic. It was emotional at times, dramatic at times, funny and heartwarming. Nice epilogue at the end, I love a good epilogue . Sexy rockers and the woman in their lives how can you go wrong. I love this series and I can't wait for the next one.

Best Man with Benefits (Wedding Dare, #4)Best Man with Benefits by Samanthe Beck

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a really great ending to a very enjoyable series.

Logan and Sophie were a fabulous couple.
Sophie surprised me and Logan at every turn, she initiates their first sexual encounter which was like wow hot hot...

Logan McCade a outdoor type business owner workaholic connects with this best friends shy sister at his wedding. She makes him crazy for her from the first sight of her and her skinny jeans.

Sophie is painfully shy but has decided its time to breakout of her shell and uses her forever crush Logan her brothers best friends from college. Sparks fly between these two right off, I really like reading about them and their love story.

From start to finish this was a really fun series to read, I had if for awhile don't know why I waited so long to read it.

I totally recommend anyone who enjoys reading to grab these books you will love them.

Each couple was unique in their stories and kept me intrigued to find out what would happen next.

Also added Logan's brothers stories to my TBR the McCade brothers sound hot.

Once again we also heard from all the other couples, the friendship between the girls is fun. The guys giving each other advice on love was sweet and sometimes hysterical.

I loved how at the end we got to find out how everything was going for each couple in the epilogue.

Seducing the Bridesmaid (Wedding Dare # 3) by Katee Robert

Seducing the Bridesmaid (Wedding Dare, #3)Seducing the Bridesmaid by Katee Robert

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Who is seducing who ? loved the banter between these two.

From the first book in the series I was NOT liking Regan at all. I got that she's a tough independent chic and all that. I liked it, but she just came off so nasty to me. With her friends she was kind and caring and the good girlfriend. When it came to men I judged her as a big old man eater. I went into reading this installment of the series with no hopes of liking Regan. The first few chapters in I was so mad at her for her treatment of Brock I have to say I almost put the book down frustrated. But I have to say she rallied and got me to like her. I think it started when she began to show her vulnerable side to us. Being afraid of trees and rabid murdering squirrels. Once that happened I really began to enjoy the book and sink my teeth into Regan and Brocks story.

Brock McNeil was just yummy from the start. I always enjoy a smooth charming Southern gentleman and he swept me off my feet for sure. At times his little pity party of daddy doesn't love me got annoying and I wanted to smack him but I got the feeling his friends felt the same way. When he finally started to realize that he really didn't have anything to prove to anyone that's when it all turned around for Brock and getting Regan to be his was not so far off.

The sex scenes were steamy and tender even when they both tried to make it all only about sex.

This one had a little bit of slow start for me but I stuck with it and I am glad I did. Even added Brock's brother Cain's story with Regan's friend Addison to my TBR list. Katee Robert definitely had me curious about both those background characters.

Baiting the Maid of Honor (Wedding Dare #2) by Tessa Bailey

Baiting the Maid of Honor (Wedding Dare, #2)Baiting the Maid of Honor by Tessa Bailey

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Reed is brooding, dark and so not into relationships with anyone and he likes it that way.
Until he sets his sights on Julie a sweet as sugar southern bell he can't resist.

Julie is the poster girl for Southern hospitality but secretly it sometimes exhausts her to be so accommodating to everyone around her.

Then she meets Reed he's far from a gentleman but Julie can't stop the pull of desire she feels anytime he is near.

This couple just exploded off the page from the first meeting. They both fight it tooth and nail leaving us screaming for this hot couple to shut up and just admit they need each other.

Reed is rough around the edges but Julie brings out his sweet side, showing her his brand of romance.

I really loved reading this installment Julie and Reed are steamy and sexy, totally hot for each other. Reed's possessive from the start love a good alpha male.

Can't say enough good things about this series moving on to the next one. Hehehe

Falling for the Groomsman (a Wedding Dare Novel) #1 by Diane Alberts

Falling for the Groomsman (Wedding Dare, #1)Falling for the Groomsman by Diane Alberts

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Another great installment in the Wedding Dare series.

I am really loving this series, each author has done a great job so far with their assigned couple. This one is about Christine and Tyler.
Tyler unknowingly took Christine's virginity years ago on a group trip to Mexico and freaked and left her sad and confused. Over the years they avoided each other. When Tyler's sister plans to marry his best friend Colt he and Christine are throw back together for a wedding bash weekend. The sparks fly from their for reconnect, Christine smashing into him in the hotel hallway. Will they both realize that they been fooling themselves all these years thinking there wasn't anything between them.

Tyler really stole my heart, he's a doctor so he's the guy who takes care of everyone around him. When Christine literally stumbles back into his life he can't help but fall for her.
"You should have been mine" he tells her at one point and my heart just about melted.

This story along with the others in this series are really fun to read. Watching how each relationship plays out around the others is exciting. The sex scenes are hot. The banter between the groomsman is heartwarming and silly at times. The girls are awesome their friendship strong and true.

In each installment we get a glimpse of each couple making us wonder how their story will go.

I think the authors did a great job keeping the couples in each book separate while staying true to the characters we have already meet. My favorite part is that each book has an epilogue so we get to find out how the couples did after the wedding week.

Moving on to the next one.

If you like a series I highly recommend this one and not waiting or cliffhangers all the books are out now.

Dare to Resist - Wedding Dare Series # 0.5 by Laura Kaye

Dare to Resist (Wedding Dare, #0.5)Dare to Resist by Laura Kaye

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I was in the mood for a Laura Kaye book been awhile since I read one of hers.
I was so happy when I started reading the novella.
Colton and Kady just explode off the page their chemistry is so strong.
They have known each other most of their lives and Kady has been crushing on Colton for as long as she can remember. They had an encounter three years ago that didn't quite go as Kady would have liked. Colton pulled away and made her feel he didn't want her. A shared occupation puts them in each others lives again both being computer code specialists. A monsoon type storm the desert leaves stranded. Sarcasm flies around as well as the sparks, their banter with each other was so much fun to read.
Great start to a steaming wedding week series. I started on the next one right away and Reed and Julie are hot from the first meeting. Definitely recommend.

Slade (Walk of Shame #1) by Victoria Ashley

Slade (Walk Of Shame, #1)Slade by Victoria Ashley

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Really steamy sexy read!

Slade was great he made me laugh, cry get mad. In the beginning we find him sexy as hell arrogant jerk. But he meets Asher and that all changes. When we find out why Slade is the way he is its just breaks your heart.
I wasn't sure how it was going to end, but Victoria Ashley made me happy with how she chose to end it. I can't wait for Hemy and Cale's stories I am sure they will prove to be just as steamy and angst ridden.
